Commander Alana Shepard (Allison Scagliotti) and Major Kaidan Alenko (Luciano Costa) against hate crimes against LGBTQ youth.

As two bisexual people, even in a relationship with people of the opposite sex, they both know a lot about the ignorance of people against those who don’t fit in the box of gender and sexuality that plagues youth even today.

The money they make from this campaign goes straight to putting the LGBTQ people left homeless in the wake of the Reaper invasion into shelters, rebuilding new housing areas and forming support groups for those in need of counselling and companionship in these difficult times.

Things may not always get better, but sometimes you don’t have to be alone.

Headcanon Time! Personalities of the Mass Effect Classes.

So I was thinking about the different Mass Effect classes, and what types of people/personalities might gravitate towards which classes (different skills would naturally appeal to different types of people, after all), and I ended up crapping this out.

(Note: All in all this is just for fun! Not saying anyone’s characters or Shepards have to fit into these molds.)

SOLDIER

Adapts to just about any situation as if it were second-hand nature; flexible in their approach and execution, and not as likely to become too attached to any one method of execution. Willing to take necessary risks, but seemingly always prepared for those risks.

INFILTRATOR

Less direct in their approach, and tends to prefer handling a situation either without becoming implicity involved or, if they do, doing so with discretion. Cautious and careful, and not prone to risk-taking without careful consideration, but still carries a tendency towards acting rather than sitting back and observing.

ENGINEER

Methodical and precise, and some may even say rigid (a notion the engineer might usually balk at), but there is always a discernible logic to everything they do. Efficient, but prone to routine. Their methods are tried and true and they are more likely to stick to their guns than try something new. However, the methods they most adamantly stick to are those that work well.

ADEPT

Wise and creative, with an intuition for what is going on around them. Like a soldier, always seems prepared for what comes their way, but less foolhardy, and remains calm and collected under stressful situations with a mind that is always two steps ahead. 

SENTINEL

Level-headed, and with a unique logic dictated more by emotion than calculus; “logically creative”. Has a willingness to try new things, even welcomes it, but not much for risk-taking, as they evaluate a situation and how to handle it before they act. Always looking for new and creative ways to take an approach.

VANGUARD

Fearless risk-takers, and some may even say foolhardy, but in reality a reckless vanguard is a dead one. Quick witted and quicker to act. Typically lacking in subtlety, which is often made up for in sheer forcefulness. Often use seemingly straightforward and “simple” methods in creative and unexpected ways. Unpredictable

Why did you think everyone just calls me Shepard for?

N7 training really did have it’s moments, my CO’s display’s were often highlights for all of us training under him. Made all the hard work worth it whenever he took his shirt off, I’m not afraid to say it.
